Opera Web Mail review ! (at pcmag)

I’m a big fan of Opera 9, and I’ve also had a barrel o’ fun with the new version of the Web browser that’s custom-made for the Nintendo Wii gaming platform. I’m always impressed with the innovative features I find in Opera’s products. So now that I’ve had a chance to play with the company’s free Web mail offering, I want to rave about it.

But I can’t.

I didn’t find inventive features, and when I first saw the mailbox size limit, I thought I’d caught a typo. Nope. Three meg—as in not gig. Doesn’t quite compare with the gigabyte or two you get from the big U.S. players. True, you can upgrade. To 25MB. If you sign up for Opera Web Mail Premium. At $29.99(!) a year.
