It’s been an exciting year for digital SLRs, and we at DCHQ have seen a lot of intriguing new developments that are sure to invigorate this corner of the market and stimulate new avenues of innovation in the near future. Some of the bigger news in SLRs include the departure of Konica Minolta and their popular Maxxum line (and it’s subsequent resurrection as Sony’s Alpha line), the introduction of the first “live-view” LCDs for SLRs, and the recent debut of Canon’s all new Digital Rebel, the 400D.
